Telescope composition and main characteristics
The telescope consists of the main tube,
the equatorial mount, two guides (photo-electric
and visual ones), two finders,
auxiliary mechanisms and replaceable parts of the main optical systems.
Guides are attached to the main tube, finders - to each of the guides.
Replaceable parts include:
-
secondary mirror for 1:3 and 1:7.7 schemes
-
secondary mirror for 1:48 scheme
-
corrector for 1:7.7 scheme
-
corrector for 1:17.3 scheme
-
lens focal reducer for 1:3 scheme
-
first diagonal mirror of Coude focus
The secondary mirror for 1:16 and 1:17.3 schemes is not replaceable and
is permanently fixed inside the moving part of the focusing mechanism.

The main tube rotates around the telescope declination axis which
is designed as follows: two semiaxes rotating in the ball-bearings
are rigidly fixed to the middle part of tube. Frames of these bearings are
basing with the hinges to the ends of the mount yokes. Such design allows to
compensate almost completely the error in the position of telescope optical
axis when yokes of the mount are in vertical plane or close to it.
The telescope is supplied with the mechanism of automatic compensation
for thermal defocusing of optical systems.
