Scientific data processing

Information about observations carried out on RTT150 (date, time, names of sources and location of files with these data) can be found using the special search system of the project. The raw data are supplied in FITS format. All data files are separated by the directories according to the date of observation, and within each date - by the observed sources and calibration data. 

The basic stages of the optical images processing are described in a brief manual (also available in PDF format). Processing is performed by means of IRAF software package. The best program for viewing the images is ds9. Processing includes translation of the image into the values proportional to fluxes with the use of calibration data (zero exposures, dark current and flat field), aligning and stacking the images, performing photometric measurements etc. 

The special machine with necessary soft is allocated in the IKI HEA department network for telescope data processing.
