Your Silent Circle

I unexpectedly found you Silent Circle home page a while ago and
liked it so much!!!
I think it's the best dance-music home page on the whole WEB !!! I am so
glad that I finally found a person who likes this wonderful band! I
believe you're the real fan of this group, right? Me too! You know, I
decided to listen to euro-disco music because of Silent Circle! I heard
their best album "#1" on the Sony - HF cassettes (remember they were
very popular in Russia during the times of standstill - zastoi?) and on
Romantic-306 tape recorder. At that time I decided that this is the
music I will listen for all my life. When I came to the US to study at a
university, I thought I'd find a lot of euro-disco music including
Silent Circle. But! Imagine how upset I was when I found nothing at all!
During the 3 years I was here, I was searching for my music... Imagine,
I knew only the names of the bands, that's all! I didn't know anything
else: no names of the people, no names of the albums, no history no
anything. But with the help of the Web I first found the home pages of
Fancy, Bad Boys Blue, Blue System, etc. and, finally I found yours,
which impressed me so much! I've been trying to find Silent Circle CDs
for sale on-line for years, but wasn't able to. With the help of your
page, I found 2 of the CDs: "The best of..." vol 2, and "Back" at Melody
Maker Dutch store on-line. But you said that you got "#1" on
compact-disc. I was going to ask you if there's any way I can get this
one too? Maybe your friends can get one for me. I don't know how much
it'll cost me, but you can tell me your price and it's 99% that I'll
take it! If you can do that I'll be thankful to you for all my life!
Please, help!

Sincerely,

Roman Sivkov.

P.S. Silent Circle rules!!!!!

I was very surprised to locate a site on Silent Circle.
I've been into eurobeat for about 10 years and my search is
endless for more. I heard Silent Circle for the first time
about a year ago. When I heard the song "Oh, Don't Lose Your
Heart Tonight", I was in tears, as any good eurobeat song
should do to me. I played it over and over in my walkman
for days and have put it and other Silent Circle songs on
many mix tapes for myself and friends.
But, what shocked me even more was your mention of the
band Joy. Almost nobody has ever heard of them. The song
Magic Eyes was the very first eurobeat song that I heard
back in 1987 when I was in the fifth grade. I can't believe
they still do shows.
My name is Amy Berger and my e-mail address is

USA. I'd love for you to contact me.
Thank you, you've made my day!

you were so perfect on the SC page writing "SC makes friends because it is
hard to find"
I gave my last SC No 1 to Alex last time, I guess it simply gave me a
friend :-)

You have no idea how much I like Silent Circle and Joy! If I had a
choice between a dual pentium pro with mmx, with the works including
lifetime internet access and 21" monitor and a ticket these two groups
perform...NO CONTEST!!! I would be getting my autograph book and camera
out before you can say "let me think...."

I remember when I first listened to Silent Circle on a bootleged tape I've
found in Chinatown, NYC.. That was the only place that would sell
records/tapes of Mozzart, Bad Boys Blue, Modern Talking, Joy, Fancy, and many
other Euro Wave artists.. But the one group that always stands out is Silent
Circle.. Although, I have only two of their songs on cd (bootlegged
ofcourse.) and several mixes on tapes.. I still popped open my tape player
once in awhile just to refresh my memories of this Unique band.. I only hope
to find all their cds somedays.. I am forever greatful to find this great WWW
site for Silent Circle.. All I can say is : Its about time!!! :)

Silent Circle...
two magical words in my mind for already 10 years...
do You belive in 'time travelling'? It is almost like that... when I hear these
two words my mind flies through the past 10 years and suddenly stops at the
hot summer of 1986...
a year with so many events... happy student life... high school graduation...
the biggest and most painful love story of my 'young ages' - *smile* do I feel
myself old? maybe... - and all these events are surrounded with a shell made of
music

the band which rose to view like a mirage... their music was perfect for the
first time... harmony and emotion with quality music... and not just one song,
their first album could be a 'best of' collection for other bands!
this can be the answer to the question why they had two 'best of' collections
after one and only one real album...
and like a mirage they just showed their beauty... we were charmed... but when
we reached for them they suddenly disappeared...
the world seemed and seems not knowing about them... what happened to this band
between 1986 and 1994 ( their second album, Back )? management problems?
personal problems? who knows... maybe just these 3 guys...

another summer afternoon in the early '90s... that was the next time I heard
their songs sifting into my room from somewhere outside... it had been such a
long time since '86 that at the first second I didn't even realize it was
Silent Circle... few seconds later I felt myself shocked... their music brought
up all the old memories... they touched me so deep ( *smile* sorry for the
emotional sound, I swear I don't write lyrics for Fancy )... so the point is
that on that day I told to myself : "find Silent Circle music... whatever it
costs, wherever it is on this planet"

their first album songs were still in my mind playing again and again...
keeping all my memories alive... until this year finally I had the chance to
spend big money on my music collection...
after 10 long years I started the search for Silent Circle again...

today I'm lucky to own 3 CDs from this magical band
it is very hard to get their music worldwide... why? my answer is simple...
this is a unique band and unique music... not for the masses...

quality always should be unique... Silent Circle forever...
