Something personal

As I grow up my musical tastes are changing. It was not long ago when I discovered for myself 60's rock'n'roll hits which still sound new 30 years and more after they were written. But whatever could touch my feelings today or tomorrow, there are songs I admire much during 10 years or more, since my school days. And every time I hear their first tacts on radio I add the volume and start singing along. When I listen to them it seems that they are entering the deepest in my soul. They reflect my thoughts, wishes, desires and always bring me a good mood. And if people would have anthems like countries have, I'd choose something from the following.

It's A Sin by Pet Shop Boys. They've made out of pop song a real masterpiece of music, dramatics and art. If they wouldn't create anything else but this song, that would be enough to stay in history forever. And the words from there are my creed:

Everything I've ever done
Everything I ever do
Every place I've ever been
Everywhere I'm going to -
It's a sin

Songs like this sometimes affect even on physical level, not only mentally. They literarily make you shiver stronger than any thriller movie or Toccata and Fugue in re minor. I tried to find which are the strongest among those I've ever heard and below is the result.

Soft Cell "Tainted Love"

Foreighner "I Want To Know What Love Is"

Alphaville "Victory Of Love"

Modern Talking "Mona Lisa", "Why Did You Do It Just Tonight"

Silent Circle "Love Is Just A Word", "I Am Your Believer"

Pet Shop Boys "Go West"

Fancy "Flames of Love"

Blue System "Romeo and Juliet"

Carman "Ciao Bambino"

I might have forgotten something, but those are most powerful. Wish I know what happens to all those people before they write songs like this.
